Hello everyone! I haven’t uploaded a makeup related post in a while, so I thought I’d treat you all to yesterday’s wavy haired look. Enjoy the ‘mane’ attraction.
For a change from my usual Tuesday all black & topknot attire, I opted for a simple spring inspired look with pink hues & a sheep fleeced coat.
For my skin, I used Estée Lauder’s Double Wear foundation, with a BB cream & Nivea primer base. Since giving in & getting the Estée Lauder foundation brush a few months ago, I have not looked back. That thing is amazing at creating even coverage – without the need for harsh blending or an orange after look that came from using my hands or past brushes.
I then added Rose Bojour blusher (it’s a really creamy pink which is perfect when I’m looking a little too pale) & a little bronze MAC eyeshadow on my lids – which I then blended with Rimmel white eyeshadow to create a subtle golden look that’s toned down enough for work.
Eye makeup can often be a tricky mistress on a Tuesday morning, so I kept it simple. Soap & Glory black Smoulder Kohl pencil around the edges of my eyes, finished off with winged liquid eyeliner (courtesy of Maybelline’s Master Precise pen).
To lengthen my lashes, I used Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara. It’s fab – I’ve had it for two months & it’s yet to run out or start clogging my lashes.
To compete my makeup before rushing off to the office, I added MAC’s gloriously shiny Cosmo Amplified lipstick. It’s my favourite shade – a dark rose pink that’s easy to pair with almost any outfit (and doesn’t come off easily with coffee mugs or daily wear either).
I left my hair in its natural wavy state for once – some things just can’t be tamed on a early Tuesday morning.
Hope you’ve enjoyed! I hope to post more makeup inspired blog additions soon so stay tuned. 🙂
