Ah, Sunday evening. The brat sister of Saturday, it’s a night filled with ticking off to do lists, planning next week’s tasks and of course, the mandatory mountain of clothes washing.
It’s also however, a fab time to blog about Saturday night attire – and here you have it.
Last night, I ventured out with one of my best friends to a closing night at one of favourite Brighton clubs. Despite it being freezing, despite my friend being hungover, and despite one absolute mother chucker of a rainstorm, we made it.
For my make up, I decided to stray away from the usual pinks and bright reds and go for a deep, dark Media MAC shade. It’s a gorgeous colour – but not easy to pair with eye makeup and accessories!
I opted for a bronze lid, liquid liner finish and brown Rimmel kohl pencil in the edges of each eye. Estée Lauder double wear foundation base – and a very simple dark pink Max Factor blush.
I paired my makeup with a very simple white Urban Outfitters cami and high waisted black Joni jeans from Topshop. It’s not a warm top – but it’s perfect for any small underground club that gets very busy and far too overheated.
The little extras: I chose a very extravagant Topshop choker (I love it, it’s stunning) and many, many rings. Oh so many. For my nails – double coated wax effect silver from Max Factor.
Finally, I finished off last night’s outfit with a cream wool Urban Outfitters coat, simple black boots and an old mock croc vintage satchel.
Ta da! What are your favourite things to wear when heading to more of an urban venue for a night out?
