When it comes to a night out with my friends, I normally tend to dress down. Think black jeans, simple camisoles and sleek, straight hair. This time, however, I opted for big curls, amplified make up and plenty of feminine style in the form of florals & Topshop lace.
For my makeup, I opted for Estée Lauder foundation, Dior pastel blush, lashings of concealer under my eyes and a little bit of BB cream to freshen up my skin.
Onto the eyes. I used a trio of MAC bronze eye shadow in Woodwinked, a white Rimmel base and a little bit of copper Maybelline cream shadow around the edges of my lids.
Then, I pencilled in the edges of my eyes with brown Rimmel kohl, Max Factor liquid liner, and finished off my lashes with a duo of Dior volume and Estée Lauder mascaras.
Lips – it’s all about MAC, of course! I began with the matte Please Me lipstick and then created a matching lip curve with In-Sync lip pencil around the edges of this. I love MAC products – far too much for my own bank balance.
For my hair – I simply whipped it into shape using my friend’s curling tongs and hairspray. I never usually curl my hair, but I loved the finished look.
For my night out outfit, I layered up, Mainly because it was freezing outside and I wasn’t looking forward to facing the cold in the slightest, especially when wearing a crop top! I paired a white lace Topshop crop top with a high waisted black skirt (Topshop, of course!) & added a floral River Island jacket.
Details: I contrasted the girlishness of my look with a fairly ruthless Topshop choker necklace, simple boutique pastel heels and finally, a New Look clutch to complete my look.
